POSITION: Structural Engineer
DESCRIPTION
The position will be based out of our Collinsville, IL office. You will be responsible for analysis, design, and demolition planning of structural systems and components using structural steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and light gage steel. Your duties will include preparation of construction and repair drawings, preparation of demolition plans, visual structural inspections, report writing, and construction review.
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualified candidates must have:
· BS in Civil Engineering (MS is a plus).
· PE license (SE is a plus).
· Minimum 5 years experience.
· Working knowledge of structural engineering software (RISA is ideal).
· Working knowledge of IBC and other national standard codes.
· AutoCAD proficiency is a plus.
· Good written and oral communication skills.
